Projects of Hanns Seidel Foundation for 2023-2024 discussed in Uzbekistan
AKIPRESS.COM – Tashkent hosted a roundtable talks on projects of the Hanns Seidel Foundation in Uzbekistan for 2023-2024, UzA reported.
The event, organized by the Representative Office of the Hanns Seidel Foundation in Uzbekistan, was attended by representatives of the Academy of Public Administration under the President, the Agency of Information and Mass Communications under the Administration of the President, and media workers.
Head of the Representative Office of the Hanns Seidel Foundation in Uzbekistan Javkhar Dustov informed about the Foundation’s activities, goals, and objectives.
Press Secretary of the Academy of Public Administration under the President Marufjon Jumayev spoke about the cooperation between the Foundation and the Academy.
Representatives of the Foundation summed up the results of work for 2023 during the discussion.
In addition, the participants reviewed issues of the roundtable discussion “Local governance: Current trends and priority development areas”, held at the Academy of Public Administration under the President on September 28.
Journalists were given information about the Foundation’s plans for 2024. All program costs related to Germany (air tickets for 20 students, internship, involvement of experts from the Bavarian School of Public Policy) will be fully covered by the Hanns Seidel Foundation.
